These were used under the long legs that were found on most all of the gas stoves pre-1940 - this set is very well used. The blue porcelain enamel has some chips. We thoroughly cleaned each, wire brushed all of the underside rust and re-painted with high heat black satin paint. These are heavy cast iron in very solid condition. The top surface patina is absolutely gorgeous. These have been well used over the years. Please view all photos to be sure you are OK with all details. The tic, tic, tic is quite noticeable and sounds like the opening of '60 Minutes' on CBS, the timer alarm sounds like the beginning alarm on Pink Floyd's song 'Time'; also quite noticeable. This is a gorgeous re-conditioned vintage / antique stove top tall light and timer. The light has been re-wire with 16G high heat insulated wire. The light socket and bulb are new. The 60 minute timer works, and is absolutely fabulous. We have had this in our shop unrestored for at least 10 years and honestly we cannot remember what make of stove it started 'life' with - Magic Chef, Quick Meal, Wedgewood or ... There were several manufacturers that used these tall cast iron light/timers. They mounted on the center rear frame/backsplash. Unfortunately most went missing from the main stove over the years as people moved around the country. The timer face is original white lettered porcelain enamel, it is in great condition. No yellowing, chips or cracks. The body is heavy cast iron with beautiful white shiny original porcelain enamel. There are a couple of small light dents on the rear of the shade - not seen when mounted. Because the lamp support and shade is so fragile, we will ship this item in two pieces. The lamp frame and shade will be disconnected from the body. You will need to re-thread the two wires back through the lamp frame threaded connector that is on top of the timer area. Included will be 2' of additional wire leads. This is an extremely rare and hard to fine item is such gorgeous condition. ALL MEASUREMENTS: Overall height / from base to top of light shade: 27.0" Lower mounting plate black area: Height 5.0" / Width: 2-1/2" Exposed main white porcelain enameled section only: Height: 17.0" Width of area at round timer: 5-1/2" Light shade: Width 8-1/2" / Height 3-1/2" Outermost light shade frame: 10-1/4"
