With the exception of clock/timer gears/motor - we have completely disassembled and reassembled each part of this unit. The light shade has new chrome. The clock/timer & cooking chart chrome rings are bright and shiny - the 'numbered' lettering has some very slight wear, the culinary chart ring has new 'dots', both rings are shiny. The clock/timer face plate is also in good condition, a little yellowing from age, no peeling or scratches.  We have intalled a new culinary chart. The original bakelite S&P drop in shakers are included and have been reconditioned including relettered - the plugs are missing.

The glass crowns/covers are in good condition, there are no chips or cracks, the glass has been polished clear. The 3 white plastic knobs are also in good condition and they work as intended. There are a few fracture lines on the upper electric plug. We recommend replacing the wiring just to be on the safe side as we believe its best days are in the proverbial 'rear view'. We have thoroughly cleaned all the "nooks & crannies". It is spotless.

We know the light works, but we do not know if the clock/timer currently works. Do not purchase this item with expectations of a fully functioning working clock/timer. It is for "tinkerers, restorers, collectors, and appreciators" of vintage Americana and I believe with the proper expertise and patience, anything is possible. These are very old classics.

"NEW CHROME" When we use this term, this means we at GrapeVineSally have had the part/s rechromed by our professionals with decades of experience. Our chrome shop is among the best in Los Angeles. When one thinks SoCal vintage hot rods & classic cars - think our chrome shop. It costs a little more, but we prefer to only work with the best. It also means the chrome is new and has never been used. If a part is used in any way we will not categorize it as NEWLY CHROMED. All New Chromed parts are original vintage parts.
