Product Description
This is a 4 Piece NEW NICKEL Finished Original 39" O'Keefe & Merritt Wood Burner Cast Iron Stove Top.
These were on the left side while there were 4 gas burners in the center and the right side of the stove top. Owners of this model had the best of both worlds. This was a very unique stove, there was the wood burner on the left side and the 4 gas burners on the right of the stove top, and it would help heat the kitchen. The dual fuel was great for rural areas of the country. These O'Keefe & Merritt vintage gas & wood burning stoves were manufactured in 1946-47. The adjacent chrome tops are also available in the store at this time.
This set is very thick and heavy cast iron. The nickel finish offers a warm tone to the stove top and looks great with chrome. The new nickel plating is stunning.
The underside photo documents the original O’Keefe & Merritt casting numbers 5102 and 5103 found on these pieces.
