NEW CABLE & HOOK

Fits the original vintage O'Keefe & Merritt stoves that used the 'Hook, Cable, Spring' system - Each oven door uses two cables with hook and the 8-1/2" (extended) spring - also available in store.

The spring and cables will break over time, the hook portion seldom breaks however often the hook goes missing. Without it you cannot complete as intended - if you need a cable and hook; here you go.

TIP: The easiest way to tell if your stove uses the Hook, Cable & Spring system is to pull off your lower kick-plate panel, on the underside of your stove floor panel (please don't do this while your stove is hot) run your hand Left to Right at the center area - if you have cables you will feel them on the underside of the stove. Or if you prefer shine a flashlight. A double oven, or oven and Grillevator broiler on the left will use four 8-1/2" extended springs, four cables and four hooks.
