The clock works, it is an original vintage 1940's-50's Wedgewood stove top clock with a new chromed base plate. Clock may ship with non embossed Wedgewood named baseplate or plain Wedgewood new chromed baseplate. Wedgewood used both styles. New high heat wiring where needed, thoroughly cleaned; the bakelite housing is a good condition, bright and shiny - 

This is the original assembly that mounts on the top of the stove top backsplash. This is a gorgeous original addition to your vintage Wedgewood stove.
